Questions
Didn't find
the answer?
What is a neutral-atom quantum computer?
Neutral-atom quantum systems use individual atoms trapped by lasers as qubits — offering long coherence times, scalable arrays and a natural path toward fault-tolerant quantum computing at industrial scale.
Who coordinates Q-PLANET?
Q-PLANET SGA1 is coordinated by PASQAL (France) and gathers 29 partners across 11 EU countries, bringing together industry, research institutions and technology providers.
How is the project funded?
The project is funded by the European Union's Horizon Europe programme and the Chips Joint Undertaking under Grant Agreement No. 101291743.
When does the project run?
Q-PLANET SGA1 runs from May 2026 to April 2029, covering the first three years of the Q-PLANET Framework Partnership Agreement.
